Zak, it was so good to hear from you. I hope this message finds you well and less scared about what's around the corner. I made it around that bend and it was scary but I realized what was on the other side was very much up to me and then I felt good. Why am I here? I always wanted to live in NYC, so I took a chance and just moved out. I got a job at an online-ish company a few weeks ago (after I met one of my now co-workers at a movie theater) and today I moved into a room in an apartment in Brooklyn. Life is very kind to me these days and I am looking forward to trying out a brand-new life by myself for a while. Congratulations on brew-master school - that sounds very tasty and I'm quite jealous! If you should find yourself in these parts, send me a note or an email or a smoke signal. I owe you a drink or two.
